Vienna Golden Sound Orchestra

Founded in 2025 in Vienna, it brings together professional, talented musicians and soloists who aim to reinterpret traditional Viennese music genres while boldly experimenting with new sounds.

The ensemble is known for innovative yet highly professional performances of works by Mozart, Beethoven, Schubert, and Johann Strauss. At the same time, the orchestra explores new musical paths, from film scores to experimental techno projects.

One of the co-founders is the virtuoso violinist and singer Viktor Andriichenko – a true “one-man orchestra” who uniquely combines classical solo performance, orchestral experience, and vocal expressiveness as a countertenor and baritone. As a violinist, he has performed with conductors like Riccardo Muti and composers like Hans Zimmer.

A true gem of the orchestra is a unique 19th-century violin with a fascinating history. Crafted by a Viennese master, it features an engraved portrait of Giuseppe Verdi, created after a real sitting with the maestro himself, shortly before the Vienna premiere of his opera *Nabucco*. Over decades, this violin resounded on the most prestigious stages of the capital of the Habsburg Empire. According to legend, Verdi himself decreed that it should never be sold, only passed on to the most talented musicians. Today, nearly 180 years later, this honor has been bestowed upon Viktor Andriichenko – after a concert in Munich, a German collector recognized him as the worthy successor to this great tradition.

Thus, the Vienna Golden Sound Orchestra today features an Austrian violin with an Italian history from a German collection – lending the ensemble’s “golden sound” its distinctive brilliance.

The orchestra was also co-founded by conductor and music manager Oleksandr Drahan and Viennese guitarist, composer, and producer Elger Asllani.
