Vienna Golden Sound Orchestra – professional musicians and soloists from Vienna who combine classical music with new sounds.
On December 20, the Vienna Golden Sound Orchestra held a joint rehearsal, followed on December 21 by the festive concert in Biberach an der Riß (Germany). In close collaboration with the choir of the Evangelische Kantorei Biberach, Johann Sebastian Bach’s Christmas Oratorio was performed—one of the most sublime works of Western sacred music.
With its magnificent choruses, expressive arias, and deeply moving recitatives, the Christmas Oratorio uniquely embodies the joy, hope, and spiritual depth of the Christmas message. Bach’s music unites the highest compositional artistry with profound spiritual meaning and continues to move generations of listeners to this day.
For us, it was a great honor and a special privilege to take part in this important musical project. Under the sensitive and inspiring direction of Maestro Ralf Klotz, a performance of remarkable musical cohesion and festive radiance came to life.
The solo parts were masterfully performed by
Susan Eitrich (soprano), Johannes Petz (tenor), Hanna Hagel (alto), and Michael Burow-Geier (bass).
Our heartfelt thanks go to all participants and to the audience for this dignified and moving musical celebration in the pre-Christmas season.
