Vienna Golden Sound Orchestra – professional musicians and soloists from Vienna who combine classical music with new sounds.
On 27 October 2025, the Vienna Golden Sound Orchestra performed in the Grand Hall of the Berlin Philharmonie – and this evening was not just a concert for us, but a striking confirmation that the Viennese tradition, presented in a modern sound, can also move a very discerning audience.
We shared the stage with the outstanding jazz pianist Mike Kaufmann Portnikoff and conductor Bernhard Melbye Voss. A special highlight of the evening was the performance of our concertmaster Viktor Andrichenko: with his rare, distinctive countertenor in the vocal parts by Ennio Morricone, he completely captivated the hall. The Berlin audience reacted visibly moved: long-lasting standing applause and calls for an encore were clear proof of the emotional power of this music.
